The Clinic’s program is designed for children 7 to 14 years of age.

No matter what level of fitness or experience, first timer or experienced, let your children learn why Australians are world leaders in this sport. Under the coaching of a qualified instructor, your children will improve their confidence and respect of water and road traffic in a safe environment.

The program involves water activities, swimming, water safety, cycling skills, cycle road code, running skills and triathlon transition techniques. Also water slide runs and team building games will be part of the program.

All training sessions include stretching exercises, co-ordination and balance in movement, dry and wet activities, drills and fun.

The clinic is specially designed for children to improve their fitness, cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. The session formats include a large range of exercises done in water and on dry land. The dry land sessions may include exercises such as bicycle riding, running, static strength exercises, hopping, jumping and a range of plyometric exercises.

Location: Albury Swim Centre

First Clinic: Monday 4th to Friday 8th January 2010

Second Clinic: Monday 11th to Friday 15th January 2010

Time: Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12 noon each day

Clinic Fee: Fee includes 3 hours per day for 5 days of the clinic, all activities, Albury Wodonga Triathlon Club membership, waterslide and morning tea. Morning tea will comprise platters of fresh fruit, fruit juice cordial and water - $95.00 AWTC member or $105.00 non AWTC member.

Booking: The places in the clinics are limited and filling fast. Be quick to confirm your interest.

Payment: Payment is due by direct bank credit or other arrangements no later than a week before the clinic. Contact Fabrizio on 02 60206042 for account details.

Equipment: Swim goggles, running shoes (with elastic laces are preferred), drinking bottle, sports bag, sun screen, mountain bike or other off-road bikes and helmet. Note: Bicycles and helmets are only needed for Tuesday & Thursday.

Clothing: Swimming bathers, towel, hat, sport shorts and T-shirt for running and cycling. Also bring warmer clothes for before and after training. As the clinic involves several activities over several hours an extra change of clothes is advisable
