Weekly Training AUS Squad

Tuesday 28 Feb to Tuesday 6 March: SQUAD TRAINING during the coach away period: Coach Fabrizio will be in New Zealand with the Ironman squad during this period. After talking with some athletes, the intention of the squad is to keep training as group. Even though it will not be coaching sessions but just group training sessions, the weekly schedule will be similar to the one we have used for the last few weeks. I hope you will be able to join the group and be flexible on the program. Session program during the coach away period. From Wednesday 7 March Fabrizio will resume coaching.

Squad Training: To join the squad training you do not need to be a member of any club. The training squad program is used by triathletes, runners or swimmer athletes from different backgrounds, abilities and expertise. The squad is open to everybody regardless of age, level of fitness and ability. The squad training aims to maximise the time that you dedicate to training sessions and periodise the sessions in order to provide improvements. All the squad sessions are supervised by Fabrizio - Australian accredited level 2 triathlon coach. The squad training gives you opportunities to train in groups and at the same time train at your best level. All the sessions will provide a variety of training options in order to fit all participants. Come along and enjoy the spirit and share the fatigue.

Wed 22 Feb - Street-O Run Fartlek Training. Looking to improve your running: Join the squad on Wednesdays for the A-W Street-O series. Street-O is a great run fartlek workout. In addition to the benefit of cross-training, with this fun and intriguing session,you will improve your recovery fitness as well as improving your endurance-strenght. Fabrizio is willing to introduce you to this sport dischipline which is very well used in Europe for endurance runners and multidiscipline athletes. Contact Fabrizio for your introductury session.
