Open Water Swim & Run Camp

Organised and Conducted by Fabrizio Andreoni – Level 2 Triathlon Coach and Swim Instructor

Age Groups: The camp program is designed for juniors aged 11 to 17 years old. Participants must be capable of a minimum of 100m swim and a 15 minute jog. The activities cater for different levels of fitness and experience.

Locations:
• Home Base - Airey's Inlet.
• Activity Locations - Geelong, Airey's Inlet, Torquay, Angelsea, Fairhaven and Lorne.

Activities:
• Swimming training at triathlon event beaches.
• Life Saving briefings.
• Board surfing, body boarding and body surfing training.
• Running training (beach and trail) and bush walking.
• Team activities.
• Challenge Events.

Provisional Itinerary & Program

Costs: Full Camp inclusive of:
• 4 days of supervision and training session coaching.
• 3 nights accommodation (hostel standard) at the Surf Coast.
• Bus transport for the entire period.
• 3 breakfasts and 3 dinner meals. Provision for lunches and afternoon and morning tee.
• Rental of limited number of surfing boards.
• Indoor rock climbing coaching and admission fee.

Costs: Deposit of $100.00 on registration.

Full Camp: $350 per person (TBC) plus AWTC Junior membership if the participant is not a member**
Activity Session Only: $25 per day fixed fee for any or all session in that day. (Transport between sessions included when available).
** Plus $20 Albury Wodonga Triathlon Club membership, if not AWTC member.

What to bring:
• Equipment: Swim goggles, wet suit, fins, running shoes and sleeping bag. Other surf equipment. Wet suit and fins can be hired.
• Clothing: Swimming and running gear. Also bring warm clothes for before and after training. As the clinic involves several activities over 4 days, extra changes of clothes are advisable.
• Bedding: sleeping bag, pillow slip and bedding sheets.
• Lunches are the responsibility of the participants.
